A traffic accident injured one person on Sunday at the corner of New Hartford Rd. and E. 24th St. at 5:07 p.m. Abby G. Broughton, 16, of the 3200 block of Spring Ridge Pkwy. and Courtland L. Buck, 47, of the 10600 block of Hwy 231 were driving in the accident. Buck’s passenger, Melanie L. Buck, 39, of the 10600 block of Hwy 231 was injured in the accident and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
