A theft by unlawful taking was reported Saturday in the 1700 block of Breckenridge St. Contents were reported stolen at an estimated value of $300.

 

In the 1700 block of Triplett St. on Saturday, a first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument was reported. A counterfeit $20 was reported to authorities.

 

In the 2500 block of W. Parrish Ave. on Saturday, a second-degree assault was reported. Broken glass from a Corona bottle with a suspected blood stain was found by authorities.

 

A traffic accident occurred Saturday in the 1200 block of E. Byers Ave. at 9:17 p.m. Stephanie G. Worthen, 37, of the 800 block of Hall St. and Nancy F. Joseph, 73, of the 300 block of W. 7th St. were driving in the car accident. Worthen was injured and transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.

 

Two were injured in a car accident that occurred Saturday at the corner of Carter Rd. and Unifirst Dr. at 6 a.m. David B. Edwards, 59, of the 2100 block of ST. RT. 270 W. and Sar K. Htoo, 25, were driving and injured in the accident. Both were transported to OHRH for treatment of injuries.

 

A car accident injured one on Saturday at 3:17 p.m. in the 3100 block of KY 54. Cassandra R. Head, 38, of the 7000 block of Hwy 56 and William C. Dedrick, 47, of the 100 block of E. High St. were driving in the wreck. Dedrick was injured and taken to OHRH for treatment.
