A traffic accident occurred Saturday at the corner of W. 4th St. and Frederica St. at 8:56 p.m. David K. Lindsey, 49, of the 300 block of Valley View Dr. and Shalonda Gray, 23, of the 1200 block of W. 4th St. were driving in the accident. Gray was injured along with a juvenile passenger. Both were taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for their injuries.
A two-vehicle traffic accident occurred Monday at the corner of E. Parrish Ave. and Leitchfield Rd. at 3:25 p.m. James R. Haynes, 82, of the 1400 block of Green Farms Rd. and Sarah E. Browning, 21, of the 2700 block of Hillbrooke Pkwy. were driving in the accident. Haynes’ passenger, Marha Q. Haynes, 62, of the 1400 block of Green Farms Rd. was injured in the accident and taken to OHRH for treatment.
A theft by unlawful taking (theft of automobile) $10,000 or more and under $1,000,000, a theft of a firearm and a theft by unlawful taking $500 or more and under $10,000 were reported Wednesday in the 3100 block of Queens Way. A vehicle and firearm were reported stolen at an estimated value of $36,100.
In the 900 block of Piedmont Dr. on Saturday, a first-degree robbery was reported. A spent shell casing and orange shoe were found at the scene.
A first-degree criminal mischief was reported Sunday in the 300 block of E. 4th St. A door theft sensor was reported damaged at the Dollar General Store.
A second-degree burglary was reported Monday in the 2700 block of McFarland Ave. Currency was reported stolen at a value of $20.
