According to a Monday press release from Owensboro Police Department, on Friday, March 22, 2019, at approximately 11:09 p.m., OPD responded to the Franey’s convenient store at 3511 Frederica St. on a report of an armed robbery. The suspect, described as a male wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and jeans, presented a knife and demanded money before fleeing on foot.
Detectives are investigating and anyone with additional information can call OPD at 270-687-8888, or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 270-687-8484.
