A traffic accident injured one on Friday at the corner of Time Dr. and Frederica St. at 12:40 a.m. Drivers Susan L. Barker, 39, of the 11300 block of Sharon Dr. and William I. Shock, 29, of the 2700 block of W. 6th St. were involved in the accident. Shock was injured and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
A theft by unlawful taking (theft of contents from inside a vehicle) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Thursday in the 700 block of Suffolk Dr. A laptop, two sets of keys and a navy blue bookbag were reported stolen at a value of $685.
A theft of property mislaid or delivered by mistake was reported Friday in the 3000 block of Highland Pointe Dr. A brown leather shoulder bag from London, cash, three diamond rings in a box, a driver’s license, social security card, a wallet and a credit card were reported stolen at a value of $2,210.
In the 4500 block of McIntire Crossing on Friday, a first-degree burglary was reported. A handgun and a box of 9 millimeter bullets were reported stolen at a value of $519.99.
A theft by unlawful taking $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Friday in the 1100 block of Burlew Blvd. A $590 money order was reported stolen.
In the 2100 block of Carpenter Dr. on Friday, a first-degree burglary was reported.
