A traffic accident injured one on Tuesday at the corner of New Hartford Rd. and Williamsburg Square at 3:45 p.m. Drivers Jenny W. Roberts, 44, of the 7000 block of Jack Hinton Rd. and Brenda M. Hagerman, 75, of the 3600 block of Forward Pass were involved in the accident, which injured passenger Margaret Porter, 74, of the 400 block of E. 27th St. Porter was taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.

 

A traffic accident injured one on Tuesday at the corner of Oak Ave. and E. 19th St. at 3:02 p.m. Drivers Rodney Smith, 53, of the 100 block of E. 20th St. and Thomas Hall, 54, of the 2100 block of Breckenridge St. were driving in the accident, which injured a passenger, Tonya Edwards, 43, of the 2500 block of Strawbridge Pl. Edwards was taken to OHRH for treatment of injuries.

 

A first-degree sodomy (victim under 12 years of age), second-degree sodomy, incest with a victim under 12 years of age and first-degree indecent exposure were reported Monday on Strickland Dr.

 

A theft by unlawful taking (theft of contents from inside a vehicle) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Monday in the 2200 block of Herr Ave. A laptop was stolen from a vehicle at a value of $540.

 

In the 4500 block of Frederica St. on Monday, a theft by unlawful taking (firearm) was reported. A firearm was reported stolen at a value of $290.

 

A theft by unlawful taking (bicycle) was reported Tuesday in the 2500 block of Frederica St. A Schwinn bicycle and an Eddie Bauer mountain bike were reported stolen at a value of $800.
