A traffic accident injured two on Tuesday at the corner of Frederica St. and W. 4th St. at 7:51 p.m. Drivers Katrina L. Shelton, 30, of the 3200 block of W. 2nd St. and Melissa Maddox, 50, of the 500 block of N. New York Ave. were injured in the accident. Shelton and Maddox were transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries.
A third-degree burglary was reported Monday in the 700 block of Scherm Rd. $800 in cash was reported stolen.
A theft by unlawful taking (theft of a firearm) was reported Wednesday in the 100 block of Carlton Dr. A firearm was reported stolen at a value of $350.
In the 900 block of Walnut Park Dr. on Wednesday, a second-degree burglary was reported. A Playstation console, a phone and a drone were reported stolen at a value of $2,817.
