Owensboro woman arrested after KSP locates large amount narcotics, anesthestics

Kentucky State Police troopers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2600 block of East Victory Court in Owensboro around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Troopers located a large quantity of medical anesthetics including Propofol and narcotics.

The investigation was initiated on Monday by Kentucky State Police when Ohio County Hospital reported the theft of the narcotics and anesthetics.

Lisa D. Means, 43, of Owensboro, was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking of a controlled substance under $10,000.

Means was employed by the Ohio County Hospital and was working at the facility as a registered nurse. She will likely face additional charges as the investigation develops. Mean was taken to the Ohio County Detention Center in Hartford.
