A single vehicle car accident injured one person on Wednesday in the 4800 block of Towne Square Ct. at 4:11 p.m. Tanya Burdette, 45, of the 2600 block of Secretariat Dr., was injured when she moved to clean something out of the passenger seat of her vehicle, and her dog subsequently put the car in reverse, hitting Burdette and dragging her down the road. Burdette was taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for injuries.
A second-degree burglary was reported Wednesday in the 1900 block of Littlewood Dr. A purse and debit card were reported stolen at a value of $1,725.
In the 2100 block of Carpenter Dr. on Wednesday, a theft by unlawful taking (theft of a firearm) was reported. A firearm was reported stolen at a value of $250.
Three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment were reported Wednesday in the 2300 block of Secretariat Ct.
