A traffic accident injured two people on Monday at the corner of Triplett St. and E. 4th St. at 6:45 a.m. Drivers William A. Meyer, 19, of the 2200 block of St. Amark Ct. and Mark H. Johnson, 32, of the 1900 block of W. State Route 144 were involved in the accident. Meyer and Johnson were injured and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
A traffic accident injured two people on Monday at the corner of W. 5th St. and J.R. Miller Blvd. at 10:04 a.m. Drivers Devin J. Keener, 24, of the 1500 block of Beda Rd. and Janice A. Morton, 59, of the 2200 block of McFarland Ave. were involved in the wreck. Morton and a passenger, Kamar Bennett, 20, of the 3900 block of Gemini Dr. were injured in the accident and taken to OHRH for treatment.
A traffic accident injured one person on Monday at the corner of W. 2nd St. and St. Ann St. at 12:00 a.m. Drivers Bryce L. Caldwell, 41, of the 1900 block of Stratford Dr. and Elijah G. Arnold, 19, of the 1900 block of W. 2nd St. were involved in the accident. Arnold’s passenger, Debra Shouse, 58, of the 500 block of Triplett St. was injured in the accident and taken to OHRH for treatment.
A traffic accident injured one person on Monday at the corner of W. 5th St. and Cedar St. at 3:44 p.m. Drivers Barbara A. Beane, 74, of the 9000 block of Hwy 405 and Laura R. Rigsby, 29, of Morgantown were involved in the accident. Rigsby was injured and taken to OHRH for treatment.
A theft by unlawful taking (theft of a bicycle) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Monday in the 900 block of Parkway Dr. A bicycle was reported stolen at a value of $2,500.
In the 2300 block of W. 5th St. on Monday, a theft of a motor vehicle registration plate was reported.
A first-degree rape was reported Monday on W. 4th St.
