A traffic accident injured one person on Monday at the corner of Carter Rd. and US-60 at 5:30 p.m. Drivers Joseph D. Hamilton, 63, of the 6000 block of Main St. and Marquez W. Bibbs, 33, of the 4000 block of Reliant Cir. were involved in the accident. Bibbs was injured while driving a moped and was taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
A theft by unlawful taking (theft of an automobile) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported on June 5 in the 2200 block of E. 19th St. A 2004 Chevy Impala was reported stolen at a value of $5,000.
In the 1300 block of Burlew Blvd. on Monday, a third-degree burglary was reported. A set of drawers and a plaque of The Last Supper were reported stolen at a value of $820.
A first-degree wanton endangerment was reported on June 6 in the 500 block of Hathaway St.
In the 4300 block of Landsdowne N. on Monday, a theft by unlawful taking $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. A tote filled with purses and clothing was reported stolen at a value of $2,000.
