A traffic accident injured one person on Monday at the corner of W. 24th St. and Frederica St. at 9:15 a.m. Drivers Justen L. Bickett, 32, of the 800 block of Old Leitchfield Rd. and Taylor R. Tosh, 23, of the 1000 block of W. Parrish Ave. were involved in the accident. Tosh was injured and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
A third-degree burglary was reported Monday in the 700 block of Salem Dr. $200 cash and a cash register were reported stolen from the building.
A third-degree burglary was reported Monday in the 600 block of Emory Dr. Cash from a cash drawer and checks were reported stolen at a value of $1,248.49.
A theft by unlawful taking (theft of an automobile) was reported Monday. A 2005 Chevy Express was reported stolen at a value of $7,000.
