An accident was reported at 21st Street and J.R. Miller Boulevard. Debra Gray, 51, of the 2100 block of Hathaway Street and John Schrecker, of the 2100 block of Sheffield Court, who was riding a bicycle were involved in the accident.
As a result of an accident on July 29, 2019, Carol M. Aud died from injuries sustained when her vehicle collided with Paul R. Puckett at the intersection of Carter and Bittel Roads. Her death was reported on Aug. 6 and the Jefferson County Coroner’s report confirmed Aud died from injuries stemming from the accident.
A theft from a vehicle was reported at Holiday Inn at 701 West First Street. A bag containing unknown prescription medications and a USB charger were reported stolen.
A third degree burglary was reported in the 1600 block of Ford Avenue. A weedeater valued at $300 was stolen.
A third degree burglary was reported in the 1000 block of Crabtree Avenue. An air compressor and generator valued at $749 was stolen.
