A traffic accident left one person injured on Thursday at the corner of New Hartford Road and Burlew Boulevard at 10:40 a.m. Drivers Linda L. Heady, 72, of the 2600 block of East Cloverdale Drive and Stephen E. Fischer, 62, of Utica were involved in the accident. Heady was injured and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
A theft was reported Thursday in the 1100 block of West Ninth Street. An iPhone 10 was reported stolen at a value of $1,000.
A first-degree sexual abuse (victim under 12 years of age) was reported Thursday in the 2200 block of West Parrish Avenue.
A report of shoplifting was made Thursday in the 3400 block of Villa Point. General merchandize was reported stolen at a value of $1,737.98. All of the merchandise was recovered by Owensboro Police Department.
