A traffic accident left two people injured on Wednesday at the corner of Highland Pointe Drive and KY 54 at 7:23 p.m. Drivers Kage A. Willis, 17, of the 3300 block of East Sixth Street and a passenger, Stephanie Belew, 36, of Philpot were both injured in the accident and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
A report of criminal mischief and theft of coins from a coin machine were made Wednesday in the 1300 block of East Fourth Street. $500 in coins were reportedly stolen from a game machine.
A criminal mischief in the first degree was reported Wednesday in the 300 block of East 21st Street.
A theft of mail matter was reported Wednesday in the 1000 block of East 18th Street. A pocket knife was reported stolen at a value of $43.93.
A theft by deception was reported Wednesday in the 1500 block of Creek Haven Loop. $1,500 in cold checks were reported to authorities.
