A traffic accident left one person injured Friday at the corner of KY 54 and Plaza Pointe at 11:55 a.m. Drivers Daniel L. Burke, 19, of Philpot and Joel G. Wilkerson, 62, of the 3900 block of Professional Park Drive were involved in the wreck. Wilkerson was injured and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment. 

 

A traffic accident left one person injured Sunday at the corner of East 5th Street and J.R. Miller Boulevard at 9:13 a.m. Drivers Clifford D. Cattles, 40, of the 4500 block of Marlboro Drive and John M. Huffman, 34, of the 3400 block of Professional Park Drive were involved in the accident. Cattles was injured and taken to OHRH for treatment. 

 

A traffic accident left two people injured Sunday at the corner of Poindexter Street and West Fifth Street at 10:10 a.m. Drivers Austin T. King, 19, of the 900 block of Marianna Drive and Rita T. Moorman, 69, of the 2400 block of West Eighth Street were involved in the wreck. Both drivers were injured and taken to OHRH for treatment. 

 

A traffic accident left one person injured Monday at the corner of J.R. Miller Boulevard and East Legion Boulevard at 10:41 a.m. Drivers Polk L. Young, 67, of the 2400 block of Friendship Drive and Ashley C. Gardner, 38, of the 1000 block of Old Hartford Road were involved in the wreck, which left Young injured. Young was taken to OHRH for treatment. 

 

A burglary was reported Sunday in the 700 block of East 19th Street. An air compressor and generator were reported stolen at a value of $1,810. 

 

A burglary was reported Sunday in the 1200 block of Nassau Avenue. Nothing was reported stolen. 

 

A first-degree rape was reported Monday in the 800 block of East Fourth Street. 

 

A theft was reported Monday in the 3400 block of Villa Pointe. $700 worth of Kohl’s merchandise was reported stolen. 

 

A theft was reported Monday in the 3400 block of Villa Pointe. $750 worth of Kohl’s merchandise was reported stolen.
