Austin Damron, 21, of the 9400 block of State Route 662 was charged Thursday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth) and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.

A juvenile was charged Thursday with second-degree criminal trespassing and third-degree criminal trespassing.

Jamal Huggins, 30, of the 500 block of Poplar Street was charged Thursday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (meth) and first-degree trafficking in synthetic drugs, first offense.

Jamar N. McNary, 45, of the 2600 block of W. 9th Street was charged Thursday with first-degree possession of synthetic drugs, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (meth) and driving under the influence, first offense.

John Boyken, 43, of unknown address was charged Thursday with second-degree fleeing on foot, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), indictment for possession of a controlled substance (meth), drug paraphernalia, failure to pay fines, failure to comply with sexual offense regulations and theft by unlawful taking in shoplifting.

Byron Huff, 44, of Evansville was charged Thursday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), drug paraphernalia and failure to appear.

Timothy A. Hinton, 18, of the 2400 block of W. 10th Street was charged Thursday with possession of marijuana, tampering with physical evidence, driving without an operating license, no registration plates and failure to produce insurance card.

Leslie A. Karney, 33, of the 2100 block of Carpenter Drive and Taran M. McLevaine, 36, of the 1600 block of Cokesbury Court were charged with second-degree possession of a forged instrument on Thursday.

A juvenile was charged with second-degree criminal mischief on Thursday. A vehicle was vandalized by the juvenile, who began striking the car with an instrument, damaging the left taillight and lid of the trunk. The value of damage was between approximately $846.83 and $838.95.
