Traffic Reports
A car driven by Gwennyth A. Dysigner, 17, of the 800 block of Bolivar Street was in a collision at the corner of 5th Street and Breckenridge at 4:14 p.m., in which Dysigner’s car overturned. Lynn Johnston, 59, of the 400 block of Reid Road, was driving an SUV involved in the collision. Dysinger was treated for injuries at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital and was reported to have suffered only non-life-threatening injuries.
An accident was reported at the corner of 5th and Triplett Street at 5:25 p.m. Ngae Ngae, 30, of the 400 block of Triplett Street was driving an SUV that collided with a car driven by Tiffany Lindsey, 30, of the 400 block of Clay Street. A 10-year-old juvenile in the vehicle operated by Lindsey was taken to the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, along with the driver, where both were treated. A utility pole owned by OMU was also struck in the collision. Ngae was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in the vehicle.
Police Reports
At the 2100 block of North Stratford Drive, a theft of a firearm was reported stolen from a vehicle. The value of the stolen firearm totaled $450.
A burglary was reported at the 2100 block of Tamarack Road. Nothing was reported stolen.
A burglary and criminal mischief was reported at the 2300 block of W. 2nd Street. A vehicle was damaged at the residence, totaling $500.
