A collision occurred Sunday at 11:35 p.m. on the corner of 21st Street and McConnell Avenue. John T. Renfrow, 31, of the 1100 block of South Highway 279 was driving a motorcycle that was involved in a hit-and-run. The other driver left the scene before authorities arrived. McConnell was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with moderate to severe injuries.

Reports

A third-degree burglary was reported on Sunday at the 400 block of E. 4th Street. A lawn mower and pair of sunglasses were reported stolen at an approximate value of $501.

 

A third-degree burglary was reported Sunday at Ridgewood Baptist Church. Two cameras and cash were reported stolen at an approximate value of $700.

 

Fraudulent use of a credit card above $500 but less than $10,000 was reported Monday at the 1600 block of Springdale Drive. The fraudulent purchases were made between July 17 and August 6. The total value stolen was approximately $758.62.

 

A fourth-degree assault, two counts of second-degree wanton endangerment and second-degree attempted assault were reported Monday at the 2000 block of West Parrish Avenue. The victim reported that a man came after him with a knife and hit his vehicle intentionally, resulting in minor injuries for the victim.
