A traffic accident occurred Monday at the 5200 block of Frederica St. at 3:57 p.m. Drivers in the wreck included Crystal M. Tyson, 59, of the 700 block of N. Seminary St. and Shirley Wells, 79, of the 4400 block of Springhill Dr. Wells was injured in the accident and was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries.

A traffic accident occurred Tuesday at the corner of Frederica St. and W. 5th St. at 10:59 a.m. Drivers in the accident included Justin T. Evans, 29, of the 6800 block of State Route 2830 and William B. Wright, 81, of the 11200 block of Indian Hill Rd. A passenger, Christan L. Evans, 30, of the 6800 block of State Route 2830 was injured in the accident and was taken to OHRH for treatment.

In the 800 block of E. 14th St. on Monday, a fourth-degree assault and a first-degree wanton endangerment were reported.

In the 200 block of Carpenter Dr. on Monday, a second-degree burglary was reported. U.S. currency and a smart phone were reported stolen at an estimated value of $900.

In the 3700 block of New Hartford Rd. on Tuesday, a first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument was reported. A photocopy of a fake $50 bill from the bank was reported to authorities.

In the 4700 block of Sydney Ln. on Tuesday, a third-degree assault on a police officer or probation officer was reported.
