After taking down Apollo in dominant fashion on Tuesday, the Owensboro Red Devils couldn’t carry their momentum into Wednesday as they fell to the Bowling Green Purples on the road.
BG led 18-9 after the first and never looked looked back in its 76-56 win over OHS.
Owensboro’s Kenyata Carbon and Amari Robinson-Wales scored double figures in their second game in as many nights as Carbon finished with a team-high 16 points with Robinson-Wales adding 14 points in the loss.
The Red Devils return home Friday when they take on Ohio County before wrapping the regular season next week with road matchups against Owensboro Catholic and Henderson County.
