GREENVILLE, KY., Pauline Stanley, 80, of Depoy passed away Wednesday February 9, 2022, at 12:41 pm in the Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital after a lengthy illness. Pauline was born in Union County, Ky February 14, 1941, To the late Kathryn and Woodrow Blackburn. She loved her family and all her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and she loved music. She loved Chubby Checker music, such as the twist. She collected Betty Boop items, she liked to fish, sew, sing, crochet, and was even known to dance to the twist at times. She loved flowers of all types, especially roses. She loved to cook for her family and raised four of her grandchildren along with her late husband.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years James McCoy Stanley Sr. and her son Wesley Eli Stanley. She was also preceded in death by her parents Kathryn and Woodrow Blackburn, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be Friday, February 11, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday, February 12, 2022, morning 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Gary’s Funeral Home.
She is survived by her 8 children James McCoy Stanley Jr., Tina Pauline (Jack) Wood, Daphne Elaine (Neal) Glover, Anthony Woodrow Stanley, Jesse (Kelsey) Cobb, Camilla (Logan) Graham, Darla Cobb, and DJ (Brianna) Cobb, 4 grandchildren Cameron (Courtney) Cobb, Lolitta Wood, Lucus Wood, and Laura Wood, 7 great-grandchildren Layla Graham, Kaycee Graham, Bentley Mains, Grayson Mains, Bradley Cobb, soon to be Oliver Cobb, and Paisley Cobb, several nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Gary’s Funeral in Greenville, Kentucky. Burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery.
