What questions do you have for the candidates in Daviess County’s primary election? We’re requesting the community’s input for the upcoming Owensboro Times Town Hall to make sure we address the most important topics to you. With many races lacking a Democrat candidate, several county seats will be determined by the primary results. Read on for everything to know about our Town Hall so far.
The OT Town Hall will include primary races for Daviess County’s Sheriff, Judge-Executive, County Commission (East, Central, and West), Family Court Judge, District Judge (Division 3), Clerk, and PVA.
The event will be held May 3 from 1-9 p.m. at the Bluegrass Hall of Fame & Museum and streamed live to Facebook. The event will be broadcast live on the OT Facebook Page in nine segments (one per race) throughout the day. Exact times and the order of the segments will be announced at a later date.
While OT has designated specific team members to formulate questions, residents of Daviess County are also invited to submit questions that may be asked during the event. Questions can be submitted here.
Candidates will be given topic categories ahead of time, but specific questions will be asked for the first time during the event.
At this time, guests will be allowed to attend in-person for free. The audience will not be able to address the candidates during the event.
The Town Hall is presented by Castlen Steel and Daniel Dick-State Farm Insurance Agent. OT has partnered with Tanner+West to produce the live streams.
