Owensboro Catholic boys and girls tennis got the better of Owensboro on Monday, winning in 7-2 and 8-1 in its matches.
Isabella Tipmore was the lone winner for the Lady Devils on the day at 10-8 over Christina Head, while Ella Cason (6-1, 6-0), Ella Grace Buckman (6-1, 6-1), Isabella Reisz (8-2), Hadley Corley (9-7) and Molly Meyer (8-2) all grabbed singles wins for the Lady Aces.
The Lady Aces also sweeped the doubles matches for the day, thanks to wins from Whitley Ford and Addie Travis (6-1, 6-0), Tipmore and Anna Travis (6-1, 6-3) and Ellie Watson and Annie Iracane (8-0).
Dylan Mather was a part of both boys wins on the day, getting a singles win at scores of 6-1, 6-1, while pairing with Arlo Johnson to win doubles 6-3, 7-6. Meanwhile, Matthew Hyland (3-6, 6-1, 10-3), Cooper Danzer (8-1), Houston Danzer (8-2), Patrick Hauke (8-1) and John Crawford Silvert (8-1) all won singles matches for Owensboro Catholic.
Tucker Ray and Brett Conder (6-0, 6-1) as well as the duo of Nolan Murphy and Sam Fulkerson (8-0) grabbed doubles wins for Owensboro Catholic on the day.
