The Owensboro Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital Wednesday night.
According to a release, at approximately 9:44 p.m. OPD responded to the 2600 block of W. 9th Street for a shooting. While officers were checking the area, an adult male victim arrived at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are continuing to investigate and anyone with additional information can call OPD at 270-687-8888, or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 270-687-8484.
