One person suffered multiple gunshot wounds that are believed to be non-life-threatening, according to the Owensboro Police Department. The incident occurred Saturday afternoon on Plum Street.
According to a release, at approximately 5:15 p.m. OPD responded to the 700 block of Plum Street for a firearm discharge. While officers were investigating and collecting additional information, a shooting was reported in the 1800 block of South Chesterfield Drive.
An adult male arrived at the second location with multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, according to OPD.
Detectives responded to investigate, and it was determined the male was originally shot during the incident on Plum Street.
