POWDERLY – Janice Darlene Wells Maddox, 54, of Powderly, died Monday, July 11, 2022, at 2:00PM at University of Louisville Hospital. Mrs. Maddox was born September 27, 1967, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Wells; mother, Lillie Parsons; sons, Brian Knight and Mitchell Knight; and brother, Robert A. Wells.
She is survived by her husband, Byron Maddox; daughter, Whitney Whitaker; sister, Rita (Danny) Vaughn; brother, Steve Wells; eleven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Larry Shadowen officiating. Burial in Union Ridge Cemetery.
