Seven Hills Neighborhood Alliance hosting block party Sept. 8

The Seven Hills Neighborhood Alliance will host a “Summer’s End Block Party” on Sept. 8. The event will feature food trucks, representatives from the Owensboro Police and Fire departments, games, music, and more.

The event will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. in the Trinity United Methodist Church parking lot, located at 2815 Old Hartford Road. Guests should enter from Kelly Lane off Old Hartford Road.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and learn what the Seven Hills Neighborhood Alliance is doing in the community.

Beginning at 7 p.m., the Alliance will hold their regular neighborhood meeting. All guests who stay for the meeting will receive a free gift bag.

The Seven Hills Neighborhood Alliance includes the neighborhoods of Trinity Hills, Heartlands, Estes, Rolling Heights, and Chautauqua Park, but everyone in the community is welcome to attend.
