GREENVILLE, KY., Betty June Snyder, 81, of Greenville passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 at Maple Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Greenville on April 27, 1941 the daughter of Floyd R. Lee and Mary Francis Lee. Ms. Snyder had worked in housekeeping at the Convention Center Inn in Greenville and she was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 58 years James Albert Snyder, her daughter Sandy O’Bannon, and 4 brothers Cecil, Jimmy, Donnie, and Darrell Lee.
She is survived by her daughter Tammy (Billy) Pointer of Greenville, 3 granddaughters April (Kyle) Noffsinger of Princeton, Crystal (Glen) Travis of Moorman, and Amy (Seth) Walker of Greenville, 1 grandson Steven (Kristy) O’Bannon of Paducah, 7 great grandchildren Jagger Travis, Emily Noffsinger, Olivia Noffsinger, Austin Walker, Alex Noffsinger, Isaac Noffsinger, Allie Noffsinger, and Bentley Walker, 1 sister Helen White of Riverside, California.
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and after 9:00 AM on Thursday, September 8, 2022 until time of funeral at Gary’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville officiated by Rev. Kyle Noffsinger. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Greenville.
