Wendell Ray Smith, 51, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born April 1, 1971 in Greenville, Kentucky to the late Lloyd Smith and Sarah Holcomb Smith. Wendell enjoyed being at his shop and riding motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Smith of Beaver Dam; three children, Brennan Smith, Jimmy Smith and Jensen Smith all of Beaver Dam; one granddaughter, Addison Baize; one brother, Doug Smith of Owensboro; one sister, Tammy (Todd) Sampson of Sturgis and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Hartford Christian Church (122 West Walnut Street, Hartford, KY 42347). Friends may visit with Wendell’s family from 11 AM until the time of the service at the church. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky has been entrusted with arrangements.
