For the 12th year in a row, the Wildebeest water coaster at Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari has been named the World’s No. 1 Water Park Ride by Amusement Today magazine. The park received several other accolades, including Splashin’ Safari again being named the No. 2 Water Park and the Holidays in the Sky Drone Show placing in the Top 5 of New Shows.
The parks together earned No. 3 in Guest Experience. In addition, Holiday World’s wooden coasters — The Voyage, The Legend, and The Raven — were named among the world’s Top 25 wooden coasters.

Amusement Today presented the results of its annual survey of the “best of the best” in the amusement park industry during Saturday evening’s Golden Ticket Awards ceremony at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio.
Amusement Today is an international monthly trade journal for the amusement and water park industries. The Golden Ticket Awards are determined by surveys submitted by well-traveled park enthusiasts from around the world.
Splashin’ Safari is open on weekends through September 18 and Holiday World will remain open through October 30; Happy Halloween Weekends begin on September 24.
