The Lady Devils couldn’t muster up enough offense on Saturday in their road loss, while Owensboro Catholic shutout Todd County Central.

Owensboro Catholic vs. Todd County Central

The Lady Aces earned their third straight shutout of the week on Saturday, defeating Todd County Central 10-0 in the All-A Classic.

Senior Katie Riney led the offense on the day, racking up five goals in the game. Junior Mallary Bailey followed with a pair of goals, while junior Ginny Young, junior Annie Helwig and senior Maddie Hayden all had a goal each.

Maddie and Ginny also had a pair of assists to go along with sophomore Aubrey Randolph and junior Elle Brey, while Helwig and Bailey also had a goal each. Senior Abby Payne was also lights out in net, earning her eighth shutout of the season.

Owensboro Catholic improves to 10-3-1 with the win, now taking a few days off before a 3rd Region Championship rematch with Ohio County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Owensboro vs. South Warren

The Lady Devils losing streak extended to four games on Saturday, falling to Souther Warren 7-0 on the road.

Senior keeper Chandler Worth tallied 23 saves on the day, as Owensboro starts its three-game road stint 0-2. The Lady Devils will look to improve to 6-9 overall next Thursday, as they will take on Breckinridge County at 7 p.m.
