
Irene Moore 94, of Livermore, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at her home in Livermore. Ida Irene Evans was born January 9, 1929 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to the late Millard Harrison and Sadie Mae Hughes Evans and was married to Paul Wilber Moore July 2, 1942. Irene was a homemaker and attended Livermore Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and spending time with both her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Paul Wilber Moore, who died September 1, 1998; by two sons, Terry Moore and Paul Edward Moore; by two daughters, Betty Louise Bray and Clara Mae Moore; and by a grandson, Paul “Pete” Bray.
Survivors include a daughter, Joann Case of Livermore; five sons, John Moore of Livermore, Carl Moore (Sheila) of Owensboro, James Moore (Teresa) of Livermore, Edbert Moore (JoAnna) of Philpot, and Gene Moore (Lisa) of Sacramento; 26 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Friday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Clive Bell officiating. Burial will be in the Jago Cemetery in Muhlenberg County. Friends may visit with Irene’s family from 10:30 A.M. until 2:30 P.M. Friday at Musters in Livermore.
