Bobby Joe Tichenor 78, of Livermore, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at his home in Livermore. Bobby Joe Tichenor was born June 7, 1944 in Livermore, Kentucky to the late Rollie and Annie Louise Taylor Tichenor and was married to the former Barbara Lou Sutton April 16, 1973. Bobby Joe retired from the McLean County Road Department and enjoyed camping, walking, and playing bingo. In addition to his parents, Bobby Joe was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Tichenor and Rowdy Tichenor and by a sister, Mary Jane Tichenor.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Barbara Tichenor; two brothers, Frank Tichenor (Faye) of Livermore and Jerry Tichenor (Patty) of Keokuk, Iowa; and a sister, Nancy Slinker (Ricky) of Livermore.
There will be no public visitation or services. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Bobby Joe’s family.
