The mall’s iconic bear and holiday chair are being sold along with hundreds of other items at the Towne Square Mall liquidation sale this Friday and Saturday.
The sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
According to photos shared by Gulfstream Commerical Services in a Facebook post on Monday evening, items for sale include: Christmas and other holiday decor, clothing racks, tables and chairs, casual chairs, commercial kitchen equipment and appliances, shelving, kiosks, mannequins, a plinko board and shuffleboard, marquee letters, candy machines, trash cans, large planters, display stands and tables, and a soda machine.

The mall officially closed on September 5, mall opened a little more than 45 years after it opened. When they announced the closing, Gulfstream Chief Operating Officer Ed Ray said exterior Frederica Street frontage development would ensue with plans to reopen the mall. The new vision features a combination of retail, warehouse, restaurant, and office space, assuming the name of Towne Square Center.
