The Peach Cobbler Factory opened its doors in Nashville in 2013, and after much success, it began expanding into new markets in 2021. Jeremy Luckett began exploring franchising options during the summer of 2022, eventually opening the Owensboro location in May of this year.
The restaurant boasts a diverse and unique menu featuring many dessert options under one roof. Located at 3245 Mount Moriah Avenue Suite 1 just off KY 54, The Peach Cobbler Factory’s menu includes 13 cobbler flavors, 12 banana pudding flavors, five brownie flavors, five Belgian waffle flavors, six churro flavors, and 12 options of bigger and better cookies.
“I learned of the concept in the summer of ’22 and contacted the corporate office,” Luckett said. “I stumbled across a social media ad and thought the concept sounded unique and tasty. I visited the primary store in North Carolina, and after tasting the product and meeting with CEO Greg George, I knew this was something Owensboro would love.”
Luckett remains active in the community, serving on the Owensboro Public Schools Board of Education and several other nonprofit boards. He also owns a medical practice in the community.
“I have always been personally invested in making this community the best it can be,” he said. “I knew this was a restaurant the people of Owensboro would love, and they deserved access to the best desserts out there.”
The Lucketts began the process of opening the store shortly after returning from North Carolina. Luckett said that on opening day, they outsold every other expansion store — including stores in large markets such as Washington, DC, Tampa, and Atlanta.
In addition to specialty desserts, the restaurant also offers homemade peach tea and cold brew coffee.
“I know that as soon as members of the Owensboro community taste our products, they will be sold on them just as I was,” Luckett said. “Many people have already visited our store, but I know many others still have not tried what we offer. We are also proud to be one of the few stores in the company with a working drive-thru for the convenience of people interested in our products.”
The Peach Cobbler Factory is available on GrubHub, DoorDash, and Uber Eats. They are open daily from 12-10 p.m. and offer late-night delivery until midnight.
“We can cater events as small as Sunday dinners with family to large corporate functions where you need something sweet to keep everyone in a positive frame of mind,” Luckett said. “As we grow, we look forward to giving back even more to the community through sponsorships and donations, but that depends on faithful support from the community we love.”
