Two people have been charged after large amounts of meth, cocaine, and fentanyl were seized at a home on West Highland Avenue, according to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office. Some of the drugs were kept under a child’s bed, according to DCSO.
According to a release, at approximately 2 p.m. Tuesday detectives with the Special Investigations Unit, General Investigations Unit, and Patrol Deputies executed a traffic stop and search warrant in the 600 block of West Highland Avenue at the residence of Cornelius Harris and Tiana Finch.
“This search warrant was due to an investigation of an ongoing drug trafficking operation at this location. Seized during the search warrant [were] approximately 694 grams of methamphetamine, 122 grams of cocaine, 65 grams of powdered fentanyl (some in pill form), 1 gram of heroin, 1 handgun, 1 Chrysler 300 vehicle, over $6,000 in cash, 2 digital scales with residue and additional baggies for packaging,” according to DCSO.
