The City and County Parks & Recreation Departments are accepting shelter reservations for the 2024 season.
Daviess County shelter reservations
Shelters are available between April 1 and Oct. 31. Between Panther Creek Park and Yellow Creek Park, the County offers nearly a dozen covered picnic shelters for a wide range of events.
All shelters have picnic tables, charcoal grills, lights, and access to a wide variety of leisure activities including a stocked fishing lake, basketball and pickleball courts, disc golf, playground equipment, and spray parks.
To reserve a space, click here. First-time users will need to set up an account before selecting a facility rental. Prices vary depending on location and duration.

City of Owensboro
Shelters are available at Legion, Moreland, and Ben Hawes Parks and can be reserved from March 30 to October 27, 2024. For more details on amenities and rules, click here.

Legion Park and Moreland Park shelters can be reserved for up to 4 hours for $48. Each additional hour is an extra $12. Ben Hawes Park shelters are a flat fee of $65.
