Ronald Paul Carter, 72, of Owensboro died Thursday, November 30, 2023 at his home surrounded by family while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born in Vanderburgh County, Indiana on March 16, 1951 to the late Paul Davis Carter and Elizabeth Jean Payne Carter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael W. Carter.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Carol Lynn Carter; children, Ashley Roberts (Zach) and Jared Davis Carter; three grandchildren, Alexander and Abram Roberts and Drake Carter; siblings, Janet James and Anthony Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory.
