The Owensboro Middle School Academic Team recently won the KAAC District Governor’s Cup competition, placing first in 7 of the 8 categories. This marks their 7th straight District Championship and 9th in the last 10 years.
The Future Problem Solving team placed 1st overall. Team members are Kinsley Hayden, Mercy Tanner, Ciel Vinson, Maya Wendt, and Kenessen Schmied.
The Quick Recall Team went undefeated to win the tournament for the 10th straight year. Team members are Henry Busse, Amelia Calhoun, Madelyn Haysley (captain), Adam Horton, Zed Garcia, Michael Swift, and Laveenya Siddon.
