The Kentucky Revival Hub, a relatively new local church, is hosting “an old-fashioned” tent revival in Owensboro on Saturday and Sunday.

Brandi Harris and her husband Daniel are preachers at KY Revival Hub, which started about a year and a half ago and had a grand opening at 420 Triplett Street in March 2023.

“It’s the first time we’ve done a tent revival affiliated with our church,” Brandi Harris said. “I’ve been involved in a tent revival, but it wasn’t in our church.”

The “Harvest Tent Revival 2024” will be held at 540 Carlton Drive in the parking lot of Upper Room Music. The service will begin at 6:30 p.m. on both nights. There will be preaching by Brandi and Tripp Harris, testimonies, prayer, music, and more.

“Our hope is to see people know Jesus,” Brandi said. “Me and my husband are preachers. Our hearts are just to see people know Jesus, receive healing of their hearts if that’s what they need, healing of their bodies, whatever they need from God. I’m just hoping to see people see people saved, set free, delivered, healed.”

She said the tent seats 200 people but there will be “all kinds of overflow room and there will be no one turned away.”

Harris said there is no set end time for either service, and she thinks people will enjoy the experience.

“The atmosphere is just all of goodness, fire, joy, and excitement. It’s just full of worship and expression of love for God really,” she said. “It’s just a good old-fashioned tent revival telling people about Jesus and how much He loves them.”
