The RiverPark Center’s 2024-25 Broadway season plans to bring four shows for every family to enjoy — from the creepy to the kooky and plenty of fun.

The Broadway in the ‘Boro season starts with “A Charlie Brown Christmas: Live on Stage” on December 9. The nearly 60-year-old Christmas story of the “Peanuts” gang will be brought to the stage with a live band performing the original famed score from Vince Guaraldi. After the show ends, the audience will be welcome to sing along in a concert of classic holiday songs.

Just under a week later, the Tony Award-winning musical “Dear Evan Hansen” will take the stage on December 15. The musical follows the story of 17-year-old Evan Hansen as he goes through high school with social anxiety, depression, and a freshly broken arm.

The musical debuted in 2016 and ran for 5 years before it went to the silver screen in September 2021 with a film adaption. The show closed its Broadway run just a year later, and this tour is the second National American Tour since it opened on Broadway.

Things get a bit wacky for the next show, with “The Addams Family” performance set for February 25. The finger-snapping macabre hit musical recounts how Wednesday Addams meets the boy of her dreams, Lucas Beineke, and how her family reacts to her new love. The tales of the scary and kooky family will welcome the audience and Lucas’s family into their home with all the ghouls and quirks for which they are most known.

Closing out the Broadway season will be “The Cher Show” on April 16. It will focus on the legacy of Grammy, Oscar, and Emmy award-winning Cher as the performance explores the artist’s 35 smash hits over six decades of stardom. The jukebox musical recounts the story of her career through each decade, with a different actress portraying the titular singer as she ages. This marks the second national tour for the production.

The RiverPark Center is now taking subscription renewals for the 2024-2025 Broadway Season through July 12. Single tickets to the shows go on sale on July 29.
