Ken R. Grossman, 63, of Maceo, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Rev. Paul Henry and Peggy Ann Grossman.
Ken retired from the U.S. Postal Service in February of 2018. He attended Yellow Creek Baptist Church and First Baptist Church. Ken had a passion for horseback riding and enjoyed watching westerns. He also liked a good game of pool and spending time with family.
Ken is survived by his wife of 28 years, Brenda Grossman; a son, Kenneth Ryan Grossman of Owensboro; a step-daughter, Laura Atchison (Clay) of Rockport; step-sons, Jim Barnett of Owensboro and Mark Barnett (Kim) of Slaughters, Kentucky; five step-grandchildren; sisters, Paula Mutchler (Carl) and Mareida Grossman-Orr (Vernon); a brother, Paul Grossman Jr. (Jan); several nieces and nephews; his beloved chihuahuas, Munchkin and Junebug; and his horses, Silver, Cricket and Iron Man.
The funeral service will be at Noon, Friday, April 5 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will be Thursday from 3 until 8 PM and Friday from 10 AM until 12 PM. Burial will be at Rosehill Elmwood Cemetery.
