Jerry D. "Wildfire" Lanham

Jerry D “Wildfire” Lanham, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Markey Cancer Center- Lexington, KY. He was born April 16, 1956 to Betty Cooper Lanham and the late Donald Ray Lanham. Jerry was a member of New life Church, Eagles, a previous member of Brother Lodge No. 132IOOF and KY Colonel. Jerry enjoyed CB, coffee shops and the Community Senior Center.

Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Terry Lynn Lanham; nephew, Daniel Lanham; and grandparents George L and Mabel Lanham.

Jerry is survived by his best friend and companion Amy Lanham; daughters Patti (Michael) Reed and Megan Moore both of Texas; stepsons, Brandon Blandford and Matthew Blandford both of Oklahoma; stepdaughter, Serena Hearn of Elizabethtown, KY; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brother Jimmy Ray (Debra) Lanham of Texas and sister Betty Jean Basham of Owensboro, KY

Services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, April 8, 2019 at the funeral home and again at 9:00 am until the time of the service.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Heart Association; 7272 Greenville Ave, Dallas, Texas 75231. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
