Bobby Gene McKnight, 84, of Owensboro, died on July 10, 2024. He was born on June 19, 1940, in Muhlenberg County to parents Niles and Dale McKnight. Bobby owned racehorses for over 20 years and enjoyed his time in the winner’s circle. He also was the owner of Red Horse Lounge in Reed, Ky for many years.
Bobby is preceded in death by his mother and father.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Kathryn (Marvin) Howard and Robert McKnight; grandchildren, Michael (Whitney) Howard, Shannon (Dylan) Howard-Henderson, Kendall McKnight, and Logan McKnight; as well as 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be held privately.
