BREMEN – Sybil Lee Hearld, 83, of Bremen, died Thursday, July 18, 2024 at her residence in Bremen. Ms. Hearld was born November 9, 1940 in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and a member of South Carrollton United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Hearld; husband, Prentice Hearld; parents, Lemmie, and Mammie Duvall; and brothers, Hubert Duvall, Walter Duvall, Orville Duvall, and Jewell Duvall.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Frank) Owens; grandchildren, Jessica (Jeff) Hope, Krista (Steve) Bryant, and Jacob Owens; five great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Rager; and brother, Bobby Duvall.
Funeral services will be Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 1PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. J.W. Haire officiating. Burial in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
