Barbara L. Burns, 67, of Owensboro passed away on July 21, 2024, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born in Rockville, Maryland on November 27, 1956, to the late William and Virginia Bean Wygant.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by death her grandson Taylor Burns.
Barbara is survived by her husband Wayne Burns of 42 years; her children Kenny (Angela) Burns and Kurt Burns; her grandchildren Seth Long, Mackenzie Burns, and Jakob Burns; along with her siblings Kathy Stumpfel, Judith Ruggles, Vicki Collins, and William Bill Wygant Jr.
A gathering of friends will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a dinner to follow, on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Park Regency.
