Ronald “Ronnie” Blandford, 64, of Owensboro, passed away July 21, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. The Daviess County native was born on June 15, 1960, to Lloyd “George” and Sidney Blandford.
Ronnie was a genuine guy that would give someone the shirt off his back, though you may catch some grief about it. He liked watching cartoons and making people laugh with the silly jokes he had heard. Ronnie was a muscle car guy, particularly Mustangs, and even built model cars in his spare time. An animal lover as well, his grand dogs will miss his scratches.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Chris Blandford and Keith “Coop” Blandford.
Left to cherish his memories is his siblings, Tim (Althea) Blandford, Lori (Rex) McDaniel, Joy (Jack) Hinton, and Tina Carothers, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Ronnie’s life.
