Goldya Kathleen Carman, age 92, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab in Owensboro, KY.
She was born in Westview, KY on June 24, 1932, daughter of the late Acie and Maurine Allen Carman. Goldya enjoyed singing, reading and writing poetry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Billy, Randall, Kelsie and David Carman and four sisters, Helen Stivers, Dell Pylant, Allean Dupin and Karolene Nottingham.
Goldya is survived by one daughter Connie Gail Carman
Seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren, including Gary Christopher Carman, a grandson whom she raised.

Three sisters, Rachel Armes, Gayla Armes and Jerry Conder

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 11:30 AM with burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Friday.
