Betty Dirk, 86, of Philpot, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Owensboro Health. She was born on April 17, 1938 in Daviess County to the late Elmo and Martine Norris Bailey. Betty was a teacher and principal in New Mexico. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Henry Dirk and her siblings, Norma Faye Mills and Louis Kirk Bailey.
Betty is survived by her nieces, Becky (Kenny) Onstott and Sue (Larry) Schrecker and her nephew, Barry (Cindy) Mills, 7 great nephews, 2 great great-nephews and 5 great great-nieces.
